When my husband and I first started dating, we would make batches of fall sangria to bring to gatherings with friends. The delicious combination of pie spices, liquor, fruit and wine made everyone ask how we made it. This fall sangria uses white wine, but you’re welcome to substitute your favorite hearty red, especially as the weather turns colder. This cocktail isn’t extremely sweet. If you’d prefer a sweeter, less-strong sangria, simply increase the apple cider to 1 to 1 1/2 cups. I hope you enjoy this with friends over good conversation.
